Toto Care Box first annual mothers day family fun run

Toto Care Box presents its first annual Mother’s Day Family Fun Run. This years’ theme for the 5km run is #EveryMotherMatters. The aim is to raise funds to provide care boxes for 1000 marginalized mothers in Mukuru (Embakasi South Constituency). Did you know that 17 mothers die every day during childbirth? This is equivalent to a 17 seater minibus crashing every day ending the lives of providers and leaving dependents with no one to care for them on a daily basis.

Join us as TCB tries to put an end to the loss of mothers during childbirth and infants during the first 28 days. Bring your family, friends and neighbours and let’s enjoy ourselves as we celebrate mothers from all walks of life. Let us give these new-borns a dignified start to life.
